TEXTURES FROM AN HEART PERSPECTIVE”

Roberto Alborghetti ‘s LaceR/Actions is a multidisciplinary project and research about urban signs, especially concerning the apparent chaos of ripped posters.

Transferred on canvas, reproduced on lithographs or textiles (as pure silk), or scanned in videoclips, the details of torn posters give new life to paper lacerations, as you may see in this “postcard”.

A VAGUE IDEA OF LIGHT… BUT THEY’RE ALWAYS IMAGES FROM TORN POSTERS… AND THANKS FOR 40.000 VIEWS!

I recently captured some interesting images which seem to be a sort of exercise (or experiment) about a vague idea of light (and about the different colors of the light…) They look as landscapes mashed up with my abstruse and abstract signs taken from cities walls.

ROBERTO ALBORGHETTI LACER/ACTIONS – LANDSCAPES AND A VAGUE IDEA OF LIGHT…

Yes, they are another intriguing dimension of perception which seem to come from Nowhere… But they are always realistic images, not manipulated or digitally enhanced, as all the 40.000 scenes I’ve collected so far for my “Lacer/actions” Project about torn posters and urban signs…

So, welcome to my Land of Light. Land of Illusions. Land of Lacer/actions… A way to thank you for my stats site: yesterday I’ve reached 40.000 visitors…

P.S. During the next week (June 16-24) I’ll be on travel… So I take a break in bloggin’, but not in capturin’ torn posters and urban signs.

PSYCHE & ART: THE LAW OF ATTRACTION / NEW CLIP WITH SRINI PILLAY WORDS AND ROBERTO ALBORGHETTI IMAGES

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION / Clip at Animoto

A new clip to celebrate 10.000 views at Lacer-azioni YouTube channel. The video presents Srini Pillay’s words from his book “The Science Behind The Law Of Attraction” +  Roberto Alborghetti artpiece from his “Lacer/actions” Project (images of torn posters and urban signs).

In his recent workbook “The Science behind the Law of Attraction” Dr. Srini Pillay draws on his experience as a Harvard psychiatrist and brain-imaging researcher. He describes seven scientific laws that explain how “The Law of Attraction” works. Whether the goal is weight loss, a romantic relationship, financial success or happiness, Dr. Pillay explains how we can draw on brain science to make sense of “The Law of Attraction.”

The artwork showed in the clip is: “Talkin’ to My Brain in Positive”, Canvas+Mixed media, 43×70 / Image location: Amsterdam, 2012 / Roberto Alborghetti Lacer/actions – Images Of Torn (publi)City. Soundtrack: Antonio Giraffe, by  Makrosoft.

A new frontier to explore for contemporary art

ARTISTIC SILK SCARVES FROM TRASHY PAPERS: THE OFFICIAL POSTER

This is the official poster for SPECIAL LIMITED-EDITION of 3 SILK SCARVES created by ROBERTO ALBORGHETTI, for his “Lacer/actions Art Project”,  now on sale at “LA BOTTEGA DI OSCAR / OSCAR’S BOUTIQUE”.

Their design is unique. They reproduce details of torn posters images captured around the world by Roberto Alborghetti , who says: “I accepted the challenge that italian textiles designer Bruno Boggia offered me. Bruno, with the invaluable assistance of his daughter Lucia and his staff, helped me selecting artworks to be converted into silk scarves designs.”

Bruno Boggia Studio works with the most famous designers and fashion brands in the world (Capucci, Lacroix, Valentino, Lancetti, Mila Schon, Chanel, Celine, Dior, Y.S.L., Etro, Escada, Donna Karan, Paul Smith, Rolando Santana…) So, the images of dirty and ripped papers – left to decompose on  city walls or billboards – after being transformed in canvases, lithographs and videoclip, are now artistic and original silk scarves (100 % Crepe de Chine).

This is the second Haiga composition created with Susan Kahn verses. The first one was  “Like echoes-or-moonlight” . Both are coming from the enchanting Susan’s “Empty Moon” poem posted at her Emptiness Cafe Blog at WordPress.

Empty Moon” Haiga work is another step of my collaboration with psychotherapist and poet Susan Kahn. We had previously collaborated also for a videoclip ( Like echoes, Like Lacer/actions, with a great soundtrack by Mike Strickland). Now, fusing again Susan’s words with one of my recent “Lacer/actions” artworks – an image of torn posters and urban signs – we present a fascinating Haiga: a combination of haiku and visual art. So, enjoy this visual with Susan Kahn poetry and my art.

This piece (Canvas+ mixed media, 70×50 cms) will take part in my next great exhibition at the XIII Century Tuscany Fortress (Piancastagnaio, Monte Amiata, Siena) from September 27 to November 4, 2012.

COMING SOON: THE “WINDS BLOW” VIDEOCLIP

FROM HAIKU TO HAIGA

Haiga is a style of Japanese painting based on the aesthetics of haikai, from which haiku poetry derives, which often accompanied such poems in a single piece. Like the poetic forms it accompanied, haiga was based on simple, yet often profound, observations of the everyday world. Stephen Addiss points out that “since they are both created with the same brush and ink, adding an image to a haiku poem was… a natural activity.”

Just as haiku often internally juxtapose two images, haiga may also contain a juxtaposition between the haiku itself and the art work. The art work does not necessarily directly represent the images presented in the haiku. Stylistically, haiga vary widely based on the preferences and training of the individual painter, but generally show influences of formal Kanō school painting, minimalist Zen painting, and Ōtsu-e, while sharing much of the aesthetic attitudes of the nanga tradition. Some were reproduced as woodblock prints. The subjects painted likewise vary widely, but are generally elements mentioned in the calligraphy, or poetic images which add meaning or depth to that expressed by the poem.

ABOUT SUSAN KAHN

http://emptinesscafe.wordpress.com/

http://www.emptinessteachings.com

Susan says: “I work as a psychotherapist in private practice and as a nondual consultant. Nondual means not two, not separate. My teaching, writings and poetry reflect a way of seeing everything as interrelated, interconnected and as lacking a truly separate essence or nature.  In Buddhism, this lack of “own being” is referred to as emptiness. This perspective is reflected in western Postmodern philosophy as well. It is the notion of a fundamentally separate self and all other phenomena that is seen in both traditions as the main cause of human suffering and conflict, and that I find to be an inspirational insight.
