SIGNS OF A CITY / MORE INDECIPHERABLE CODES FROM AMSTERDAM WALLS…#2

Amsterdam city (The Netherlands) reveals itself also through random images of ripped and decomposed publicity poster we may see along the streets and canals. During my last  visit I gathered interesting and capturing images which are really part of colors, shapes and moods of the so called “Venice of Northern Europe”. Rugs, papers, glue, dust, spray colors residuals and other materials mixed with torn posters gave origin to some fascinating and even disquieting scenes, where light and dark seem to create an obscure dimension or some indecipherable codes… It’s just the world of Lacer/actions…

    • Thank you so much Roger! Yes, the materials (paper, glue and colors) stayed for so long on the walls and so they received rain, dust, pollution, spray, humidity, sun and so on… The triumph of decomposition?
