A beautiful visual adventure is budding from the Land of Robin Hood to the Land of Ghino di Tacco in Tuscany. From the much lauded March 27th GHOST BUS SHOW and UK short films premiere at Nottingham and its collaboration between celebrated visual artist Roberto Alborghetti, ACT Group (Art-Culture-Tourism) and Bartons plc, an exciting international abstract art gallery is travelling along the road bridging England to Italy, via an old rusty bus.  An exciting multi art, culture and tourism show that will be starting on Wednesday 21 October with the ACT Tuscany GRAND TOUR and finishing on Wednesday 28 October.

In the middle weekend of the tour, 24 & 25 October, at Mount Amiata, where the extinct volcano resides over this stunning landscape, there is taking place, at the medieval hill topped town of Piancastagnaio, a wonderful mayorial reception and tour offered to the people of Beeston, Nottingham, East Midlands and from all over England, with descending visitors from Italy and all over Europe.

On Sunday 25 October evening, in collaboration with Osa Onlus, the Comune of Piancastagnaio, his Major Luigi Vagaggini,  the highlight of the tour will be the ITALIAN short film premiere of THE GHOST BUS followed by an explosive ART FASHION & DESIGN SHOW by Roberto Alborghetti and international couturier Mitrani Yarden, fashion designer and artist.

The huge publicity derived from this great collaboration of Italian visual artist, Beeston based art-culture-tourism group and an old rusty 1950s bus once operated by Bartons, has led to Art-Culture-Tourism “twinning talks” between Nottingham and Tuscany.  In fact Beeston with Piancastagnio, Nottingham with Siena, East Midlands region with Mount Amiata region.  And these “talks” will be progressed and ACTivated during the Tuscany GRAND TOUR.

A visual treat is in store for those booking and participating in this road and landscape adventure bringing together England and Italy. The writing is on the wall… follow the RENAISSANCE to the heart of Tuscany!

“The road never ends…only our vision does.” (A.Reddy)

THE GHOST BUS Toscana - Copia - Copia

SOMEWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE…: THEY AREN’T CREATED BY THE BRUSH OF A PAINTER, BUT SIMPLY BY THE CASE…

Walking through the STREETS of a city and finding out ( suddenly ) a BILLBOARD on which some decomposed publicity posters BRING your EYES into amazing horizons, visions and incredible UNIVERSES…

Once again, it happened to me. Once again, here are some of the pictures I’ve gathered there, with my camera…

Once again, I was amazed and admired how the REALITY goes beyond every imagination.

All that was not created by the BRUSH of a painter, but simply by the CASE…

ABOUT MY LACER/ACTIONS PROJECT

“LaceR/Actions” is a multidisciplinary project and research about the apparent chaos of ripped and decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks, crevices, scratches and urban and industrial signs and tokens (during my research around the world  I  collected so far about 80.000 images). Transferred on canvases, reproduced on lithographic prints or textiles (as pure silk), re-built on collages or scanned in videoclips, the images of torn and disfigured posters and natural cracks give new meanings and expressions to paper lacerations and matter decomposition.

One of my shows was displaced for 100 days in the enchanting Aldobrandesca Fortress (XIII Century) in Tuscany (Piancastagnaio, Siena, Italy). In the last two years I worked on these projects:  “Contemplations and Lacer/actions” (album, videoclip, installations, inspired by Thomas of Bergamo Scripts, 1563-1631), “Atelier of Colors and Emotions” (a project which involved autistic kids), “Lacer/actions on Aluminium” (11 installations for Fai Private Collection, Italy). My works are part of Contemporary Art Collection (Mercatello sul Metauro, Marche, Italy) and participating to “An Exhibition, a Restoration” in Norcia (Umbria, Italy) from July 12 to September 7, 2014.

My recent “The Ghost Bus” project was carried out with Bartons Plc and Act Group, Beeston, Nottingham, UK (January-March 2015) with a great short films premiere on March 27, at Bartons Plc, Chilwell-Nottingham. An Italian premiere will take place in Tuscany (Monte Amiata, Piancastagnaio, Siena) on October 24-25. My most recent solo show (“Colors of an Apocalypse 2015”) was on Lake Como, Lenno, Italy, on  July3-4-5, 2015, in a special and spectacular location: the St. John Baptistery (XI Century), a beautiful example of Romanesque art.
