Walking through the streets of the cities and finding out billboards on which some decomposed and ripped publicity posters open you amazing visions… In this small photo-gallery I present 3 of the pictures I gathered two weeks ago in Bari (Puglia, Italy). They are some black and white abstracts, produced by the glue tracks left on the billboard  when they took away an old and ripped publicity poster…

As I usually like to say, they’re not paintings, they’re not created by the brush of a painter, but simply by the case. They’re abstract and macro photos I usually take while I’m walking along the streets: during my trips I  collected so far more than 80.000 images. I’m always amazed and admired how the reality goes beyond every imagination… The important is to be in the right moment and in the right place, having my photocamera ready…

FROM NATURAL CRACKS TO FABRIC PRINTS…

“LaceR/Actions” is a multidisciplinary project and research about the apparent chaos of ripped and decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks, crevices, scratches and urban and industrial signs and tokens. Transferred on canvases, reproduced on lithographic prints or textiles, re-built on collages or scanned in videoclips, the images of torn and disfigured posters and natural cracks and scratches give new meanings and expressions to paper lacerations and matters decomposition.

One of my shows was displaced for 100 days in the enchanting Aldobrandesca Fortress (XIII Century) in Tuscany (Piancastagnaio, Siena, Italy). In the last years I worked on these projects:  “Contemplations and Lacer/actions” (album, videoclip, installations, inspired by Thomas of Bergamo Scripts, 1563-1631), “Atelier of Colors and Emotions” (a project which involved autistic kids), “Lacer/actions on Aluminium” (11 installations for Fai Private Collection, Italy). My works are part of Contemporary Art Collection (Mercatello sul Metauro, Marche, Italy) and participating to “An Exhibition, a Restoration” in Norcia (Umbria, Italy) from July 12 to September 7, 2014.

My recent “The Ghost Bus” project was carried out in Nottingham, UK. I produced two short films which were premiered on March 27, 2015 at Bartons Plc, Chilwell. An Italian premiere took place in Tuscany (Monte Amiata, Piancastagnaio, Siena) on October 24-25, 2015. My most recent solo show (“Colors of an Apocalypse 2015”) was on Lake Como, Lenno, Italy, on  July3-4-5, 2015, in a special location: the St. John Baptistery (XI Century), a beautiful example of Romanesque art.

During the last year, with fashion designer and artist Mitrani Yarden (HotCouture is his trademark) we have developed ideas for the fashion world, as the Volcano Dress (e-book and short film about an high-fashion outfit) and innovative fabric prints series.

Some of the new and extraordinary designs for printing fabrics created by Mitrani Yarden & Roberto Alborghetti will be part of  the great collections of Bruno Boggia Disegni. This important collaboration was recently joined in Como, at Studio Boggia, http://www.boggiadisegni.it/

Lucia Boggia  personally selected the printing fabrics  which very soon will be on sell across the world. Starting from the great achievement reached with the Volcano Dress (Yarden created an high fashion outfit basing on the design of one of the abstract photos Roberto took from the Ghost Bus, at Bartons Plc in Nottingham) Mitrani and Alborghetti has now developed an amazing series of printing fabrics always based on the abstract photos about decomposed matters. These works are available in exclusive and unique copy for professional use.

Yarden and Roberto have created a great series – an explosion of colors bringing new trends in fashion – and the same Boggia Studio was amazed and impressed by the prints layout that are ready to be used on different textiles and for different outfits. As Lucia Boggia said “no painter or pc can create this kind of printing fabrics”.

Roberto already collaborated with Boggia Studio in the creation of the three silk scarves with the design from torn and decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks and scratches, urban and industrial matters. Bruno Boggia Studio (Como, Italy) for over sixty years has been working in textile designs with the most famous fashion brands in the world: Capucci, Lacroix, Valentino, Lancetti, Mila Schon, Chanel, Celine,  Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Etro, Escada, Donna Karan, Paul Smith, Rolando Santana
